Miso Hummus Feature

Miso Hummus

So as I was trying to find other ways to incorporate my miso into different dishes, I came across a recipe in the Alive Magazine for a hummus containing miso! I gave it a try and of course added my own twist & it turned out great! Something different that just the plain old regular hummus 😉

Ingredients:

2x540ml cans chick peas
2.5-3 tbsp olive oil
2tbsp fresh lemon juice
3 tbsp miso paste
1 clove garlic
1.5tbsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp tumeric
handful of cilantro

BLEND!

I placed all ingredients into the food processor and kept going until I reached the consistency I liked!

Topped with cilantro and fresh organic tomatoes=Delicious!….this added a great flavour with the tomatoes
