Watermelon Mint Water

HEY! Ready for some funky water?

So, I don’t personally need to spice it up just to drink some more water, but I know loads of people who need a little something to make it more enjoyable. It’s also fun on a warm day to try something different-plus it looks pretty cool! And…I was asked twice once I made it if there was any vodka going in there (lol) so go ahead, I wont judge 😉

Chop up some delicious watermelon, add a few mint sprigs and a few slices of lemon. Top up with water and ice. Crush the mint leaves to release some flavour right away and ENJOY 🙂

Watermelon contains many vitamins and minerals & approx 1 cup of diced watermelon gives you over 16% of your daily value of Vitamin C, making it a great antioxidant.
Mint has many health benefits as well-it serves as a natural stimulant, helps stimulate digestive enzymes (aiding in digestion) and can sooth headaches & nausea to name a few.
Lemon also contains many health properties. Lemons are very alkalizing helping the body maintain its pH levels, stimulates digestion & detox, contains high Vitamin C & promotes healthy skin
