Vanilla energy bars with great quality fats & proteins that will help keep you full and satisfied.
Coming to you straight from my mother! After her 9 day cleanse, she was looking for some healthy snack/treats to take camping and couldn't quite find the perfect thing. So after searching for some recipes she put together a great little treat complete with some quality un-denatured whey protein from Isagenix! Perfect! I ♥ it!

Ingredients

1 cup organic almond butter

3/4 cup unpasteurized honey ( could use pure maple syrup )

1/2 cup milled flax seed (could use whole flax seeds)

1 cup organic coconut flour

1/2 cup Isagenix vanilla shake powder

1cup oats

1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds

1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds

1/2 cup shaved almonds

1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

1Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl , set aside

2Lightly grease a 9 by 5 pan with olive oil

3In large pot bring almond butter and honey to a boil stirring constantly

4Take off heat, add vanilla extract and the dry ingredients stir until combined

5Put in pan and pat down with your hand

6Let cool and cut into bars.

If you want chewier bars cut down on some of the dry ingredients. You can pretty much add what you want to these. Switch up the nuts, add dry fruit , what ever you like....Enjoy!!
